Group Class Descriptions
Beginner Silks
|
Come learn the basics of flying! We start with climbing, footlocks and an array of aerial poses. Gain the body awareness and strength to sustain yourself in the air. **No Experience Necessary**

Beginner II Silks
|
Take your flight to the next level in this class. We will work on sequencing moves, begin work in our double foot lock, and take your flight a little higher. We will be introducing locks, keys, and even a drop or 2 in this fun, next level class. **Previous Experience Required** Instructor Approval Highly Suggested**

Intermediate I Silks
|
Fly a little higher in this class. We will start to explore and work with different locks, keys, inversions, drops and sequences in this class. We will also focus on fabric theory and understanding the how and the why behind different wraps. **Previous silks experience required. Must be able to do a clean aerial footlock (single and double), a clean inversion in the air, multiple entrances and an inversion in a crossback straddle, be able to execute and understand the theory of hip keys and thigh locks. **Instructor Approval Required**

Intermediate II Silks
|
Take your silks experience to the next level in this class. We will start to explore more complex drops, sequencing and really hone in on technique. **Previous silks experience AND Instructor Approval required. **Instructor Approval Required**

Advanced Silks
|
The highest level of our aerial fabric classes. Instructor Approval is required to enter this class!!

Lyra Hoop
|
Learn to spin, invert and fly on our metal aerial hoop suspended from the ceiling. You will learn a variety of different static poses in the hoop, as well as, begin to sequence them together. Focus will be on building the core strength and stability to stay in the air and look good doing it! Lyra classes range from Beginner thru Advanced.

Trapeze
|
One of the original circus disciplines, trapeze is an exciting apparatus where a metal bar is supported by ropes on each end. You will learn a variety of different static poses on the trapeze, as well as, mounts, dismounts, turns and inversions. Focus will be on building the core strength and stability to stay in the air and have fun doing it! This is an all levels class.

Aerial Yoga
|
Take your yoga practice to the next level and take it off the ground! Whether you are an advanced yogi or new to the world of yoga, this class will offer something for everyone. This class is done in a hammock that hangs about hip level, and we use it to assist us in the yoga sequences we will go through. Modifications will be given to either increase or decrease the level of difficulty. Stretching will be taken to a whole new level in this class. Come turn yoga on its head with this great workout for all levels and all ages!

Aerial Contortion
|
Focus on the core strength and stability needed for aerial arts. Work out muscles you never knew you had on a variety of apparatuses.. all the while in the air! We will focus on gaining strength, awareness, and endurance in the air. This is a class open to students with prior aerial experience.

Act Creation
|
Take your training to the next level by focusing on the in’s and out’s of perfecting aerial routines. Learn how to portray a character and tell a story thru your movement. We will focus on transitions that make your aerial pieces your own, and finding your own specific style in the air. Musicality not required but previous silks experience is.

Open Studio
|
This is a practice time for CURRENT students. You must have taken a class with us in the last 6 months, on the apparatus you wish to practice on, to be eligible for this class. No formal instruction will be given in this class as it is a time to work on things you are already familiar with.
